EDO, THE ARTIST
Edo is the future. A self-taught digital artist, fashion designer and model. Born Eddie Santana White, this dynamic young man has taken the Chicago art industry by storm. He has worked with some of Chicago’s leading urban clothing brands, such as Leaders 1354, Joe Fresh Goods, Treated Crew and Fat Tiger. His art has been featured in the Hyatt International Corporation Business Diversity event twice for 2016. He has participated in this year national Pancakes & Booze art show and traveled to Detroit, Michigan for an artist meet and greet at the Baltimore Gallery.
Designing for Leaders 1354 has been a dream for Edo since he was a student at Hyde Park Career Academy. Influenced by notable artists like Kanye West and Kid Cudi, Edo describes his work as imaginative and futuristic. Only a year into his profession, Edo has already created a buzz across the Midwest as he continues to build and grow as a young significant artist. Launching a clothing line called Emperion, creating a graphics & screen printing company [blankcanvas], and appearing in local media publications like, ABC News, FOX32, Chicago Creatives, Champagne & Snark, and sitting live on the Living with Sam Graham Show.
With the little free time he does have, Edo spends mentoring young men and teaching basic graphics at some of the local high schools and churches. Edo is passionate about creating art and opportunities for those around him. His ultimate goal is to one day open a technological advanced art school that helps inner city youths achieve their greatest potential.
